Rainbow Celebration
The LGBTQ+ Resource Center is proud to host the 11th Annual Rainbow Celebration & Awards Ceremony for the Class of 2024! We recognize that LGBTQ students often face a unique and challenging road on the journey to graduation and extra time should be taken to acknowledge the hard work and determination put forth by graduating LGBTQ students to reach this momentous occasion. Rainbow Celebration provides an opportunity to honor and celebrate graduating LGBTQ+ and Ally students for their accomplishments, efforts, and contributions while in attendance at Kennesaw State University

Denim Day
April 24th is Denim Day! Denim Day calls everyone to wear denim to show support for victims and survivors of sexual assault, harassment, and abuse. We encourage participants to wear jeans while they decorate denim patches and check out support resources! April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month. SAAM was officially designated by the National Sexual Violence Resource Center in order to raise public awareness, empower survivors, and educate communities on how to prevent sexual assault, abuse, and harassment. Throughout April, the Women’s Resource Center and our campus partners will present various events as we strive to create a campus and world free of sexual violence.
